Did You Know?
The ”week” starts on April 29, a national holiday that used to be celebrated as the birthday of Emperor Showa, who reigned from 1926, was the leader of Japan during World War II and passed away in 1989. It is now celebrated as Showa Day, a day to allow people to think back on the hardship and recovery of the Showa period and to ponder the future in Japan.
Each country has it’s own story, I’m amazed at how this country has overcome obstacles and evolved into what it is today, with even more potential for the future.
